His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah expresses high hopes that stakeholders in the management of zakat or tithe can carry out their responsibilities with full trust, in a transparent, fair and efficient manner so that it does not raise anxiety in the community, specifically those who are entitled to receive zakat.

In the titah in conjunction with the Knowledge Convention 2025, His Majesty also stresses on the importance of wakaf or endowment management, which is a long-lasting practise as an ongoing charity.

His Majesty began the titah by expressing gratitude towards Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala as by His blessings and grace, they can gather at the Knowledge Convention Assembly. His Majesty in the titah expresses pleasure in seeing that the Knowledge Convention continues to become a tradition as one of the events held in conjunction with the Monarch's birthday celebration.
